Allendale Steakhouse: A Dining Experience Worth Remembering

I had a wonderful dining experience at Allendale Steakhouse. The food was absolutely delicious — every dish was full of flavor and perfectly prepared. The oysters were outstanding — fresh, briny, and beautifully presented. The service was also top-notch: attentive, friendly, and professional. Highly recommend for a quality steakhouse experience!

I had an incredible experience here! The porterhouse steak was cooked perfectly—tender, flavorful, and clearly high quality. The cheesecake for dessert was the perfect finish—rich, creamy, and beautifully presented. The service was outstanding; the servers were attentive, welcoming, and made me feel like family. The owner came by to check in, and his warmth and hospitality really stood out. This is definitely a place I’ll be coming back to and recommending to others.

First time here, excelent dinner all the way around. We liked sitting upstairs, nicer atmosphere. Had the porterhouse for 2, just perfectly cooked and delicious. The filet side melted in your mouth. Friends had rib eye and filet and said the same thing. Had several sides. The chips were the best! Oh, I almost forgot, the BACON appy, yum. At most steakhouses, this would be $350 or so with tip, but being a byo, it was $250 a couple, I felt redeemed, lol. Service was excellent, very friendly and attentive and the table was kept very clean. I can't wait to go back

Highly recommend reservations as this is a well known and intimate establishment with smaller seating area. BYOB was a huge plus for my wife celiac Annie and I, as it helped keep the bill a little lower vs. usual. Nice wine store immediately across the street. Great service and amazing cuts of meat. Even my wife's fish was on point. Love the atmosphere.

Excellent food. Steak is hands down the best in bergen county. Ton runs a tight ship and his waiters are amazing.

Whenever I go to Woodbury Outlet, having dinner at Allendale Steakhouse is a must! The perfect way to do it? Stop by Allendale Wine Shop first, grab your favorite bottle, and bring it along to enjoy with your meal. For appetizers, I usually go for the oysters and bacon, and for the main course, the Porterhouse is my go-to. Occasionally, I switch it up with a Ribeye, and honestly, everything is great. For sides, I personally love the Brussels sprouts, but the asparagus is also a solid choice. And when I’m in the mood for dessert, I go for the Hot Fudge Sundae—a simple, classic treat that never disappoints! Highly recommend this place for a great steak dinner!

The NEW Allendale Steak House is GORGEOUS and so spacious And the food is as good as it always was, maybe even better.!!! This was their first few days open, and the service was exceptional as always, and for such a busy time it’s amazing that they have everything running like a well oiled machine.!! Great job guys as always.!!! Thank you for turning an old ugly EMPTY bank into a beautiful building with a wonderful place to gather and have a really delicious meal and make a wonderful memory.! AWESOME.!!!!

A long standing restaurant who recently moved across the street from their old location. The new location used to be an old bank building. Great meets for sure!
